Savage 11 Trophy Predator. Excellent rifle for the money, and it comes with a decent Nikon Prostaff scope. Just watch sales to find it in the $500 range.

Savage Axis especially if you can find one at Walmart, they are closing them out at $139, and I cant help but agree with the 700ADL suggestion.

Remove the gas tube on your AR15 for a straight pull rifle

Stevens 200 if you can find them. But, I would buy an Axis for $139 if I saw it.

Yes, not sure if they have any left or not, that crazy sale they had was a little while back.

I have shot the Ruger American and the Mossberg MVP, both are good rifles for the money.

I  killed a BUNCH of coyotes with a Tikka T3 .223 , before a buddy convinced me to swap for a CZ 7.62x39 bolt action carbine. You might find one for under 500 used.

If you cannot find a used one, I would personally save the money and get a new Tikka.

I agree with getting a Tikka, it costs a little more but will have a great trigger and a very high probability of accuracy out oif the box

You prefer the 527 over the Tikka?

I own both Tikkas and CZ rifles. I prefer the micro CZ action. Accuracy has always been stellar also. YMMV.
