My latest pic from opening firearms day taken in KS. Taken at 35 yards with a Glock 20 10mm, 6" LW barrel and custom 180gr hp over 9.5gr of longshot. The other side was pretty bloody from my two shots so I chose the cleaner side to take the pic with.

Nice Buck. Yes, I have a TLR1-HL mounted on it for balance and it rattles in my holster without it. It makes follow-up shots a little quicker for me when shooting my hot loads from this platform. |

I use factory glock night sights and actually stalked/ tracked him for about a 1/2 mile. I spotted him bedded down near some dead trees near the pond about 200 yards away but could not get a good shot with my rifle. So I walked down the road for a quarter mile and started walking towards his location. I jumped him up and he ran into some cedar groves that is about 80 yards wide and run for about 40 acres. Behind the cedar grove is open pasture so he felt safer in the cedars.
I stalked him into the cedar grove and he gave me a broad side shot when he actually turned towards me, spotted me then turned and ran parallel to me. It was too close for me to use my bolt rifle so I grabbed my side and pulled out the Glock 20. Two shots later he hit the dirt and is now is the freezer and was turned into to european mount for my den. My wife acutally wanted me to trophy hunt this year because she said the den looked odd with only 3 other mounts in it. He is smaller than I usually mount so I opted for a euro mount instead. |

Congratulations! I NEVER seem to see any good racks when the glock is on my hip!! I have a bunch of scrubs and skippers with my G20 LOVE IT! I keep hoping against hope that Winchester will release another run of 175 Silvertips!! I have use this bullet at 1350+ fps form my 6" KKM barrel. LOVE this bullet!! Shot two so far with the 200 XTP at 1250fps and its good, but no as large a exit and so far not as "impressive".
