NC was the only station I had readable copy on. Some very scattered partials from one or two other stations on 20.

Yeah, I'm getting maybe 50% with the CW drowning NC out here.

I think you called me but my RX is so choppy I wasn't sure and didn't respond. SNE here.
Weaponeer1911 is strong here. Going to call it a night. |

Looks like 40M got a lot rougher after net time compared to before.
3 official check ins on 40M, plus NMBMXER on 20M. Hopefully things are better next week. |

I will be present to NC for this evening's net.

I pretty much just figured out how to receive digital the last 3 days so I’ll at least lurk, not sure if I have a transmission ready setup yet
I'm out for tonight , family dinner.
I'll be around, debatable if I'll be there by 1930est if you're planning a 20m thing again.

I'll give 20M a try at 2330Z but it's not critical anyone be there, it's more just to judge if it's worth switching to 20M
and so far the answer to that has been no, and we're practically at the summer solstice. |

Had your initial call on 20m and then lost you.

I'm struggling here to get good copy on stations I usually hear fine, I have 50% copy on the net warnings. It gets better later in the net, the beginning is rough.

I think that shows that it's related to 40M prop during the day v. night, pretty classic behavior for 40M to get better
as the sun sets (or gets closer to, at least.) Too bad 20M is so flaky. If we had more stations 20M might work better than 40 using relays, but given the thin attendance, 40M it shall be. |

Not receiving NCS at all but have had great copies on weaponeer, redbird, and a ZSG station
Smaller net but 40M seemed better behaved than last week, imo.
No issues copying anyone at all. Three stations + NC tonight, plus one or more SWLs Thanks for checking in and listening! |

I should be present to NC this evening, though if there's a thunderstorm (we're expecting and hoping there will be to help with the fires) I may be QRT.

I'll be a late check in tonight, out with the kids getting ice cream and will be home shortly.

Hello old friend, nice to see you again:
Attached File 40m has not been been cooperating with me this summer. If I had to NCS I think we'd miss a third of the direct check ins. It was funny tonight, ncs calls Mach and he doesn't reply. I take my turn and immediately I hear the loudest RSID ever, I know who instantly who that is: Mach! |

I'd say conditions were the best they've been for a month or so tonight.
Five stations total + NC, and thanks to NMBMXER for the relay. Hope everyone has a good field day! ETA: I had solid copy on everyone but bigdaddy0004, who was pure ghost print. I didn't even hear tones and the waterfall was clear. It's always spooky when Olivia pulls that off. |

I heard everybody but NC, I figured I would ask you for relay since I knew you would here me. First time ever that i could not hear Seek2. Weird. ETA: actually don't know if I heard everybody, I never heard NC so I don't know who was on the net. I am now thinking I didn't hear some others too. |

I should be around to NC as long as there's no active thunderstorms in the area -- they've been happening off and on all day, hopefully it's "off" at net time.

I got a late minute honey-do to pick up a dresser, doubtful I'll be back but I'll try.

40.

I just got to the rig but there was traffic on 40m before I showed up.
No joy for me tonight. I'm not seeing any activity.
Yeah, similar here. Getting 10-15% copy on NC, weaponeer1911 just came though decently, though.
Band seems like it is slowly dying between the net countdown and now based on the signals I'm seeing.

Smaller net with fairly bad conditions on 40M tonight.
I counted three stations + NC. Propagation deteriorated significantly from pre-net testing by net time. |

I hopped onto JS8 just to make sure that I was able to receive, and that I hadn't messed something up. 40 is doing well for me there.
I just got home and powered up the radio, just in time for the lightening to start. Yea summer... Seems like I missed the end of the net by minutes.

I should be around to NC tonight. Hopefully the band is better than last week.
ETA: I may have spoken too soon, depending on timing I may miss the warning TXs or the net entirely as I bring home a cat from the vet. ETA2: Yep, I'll be away from the radio during pre- and post-net. So we need a volunteer NC or it can be a free for all. |

I'll be on at 0000z 40m. Took me awhile but I finally got fldigi and the IC-705 to play nicely together
Im gonna attempt tonight as long as i can hit it between thunderstorms
I just saw the update, I'll call the net tonight. Probably get some good practice with relays as I can't hear everyone this time of year this early in the evening.

Nothing like setting things up seemingly okay, then the pc decides to start locking up on transmit once people can hear you

I would encourage other stations, possibly one in TX who can hear everyone (cough cough), to try calling the net one week -- it's easy and fun. 73 de Nmbmxer |

My main issue with being a NC for this net is that I am also being a co-net control on our local 2meter simplex net at the same time each Wednesday night. (Because I am up on top of a hill.) I can manage a check-in and short comment on the digital net while I’m listening for folks and relaying calls on FM voice simultaneously, but I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on running the digital net.

Thanks for running things, NMBMXER. Back home with a cat that's high as a kite with less teeth than he left with.
I should be able to NC next week, the 21st and 28th I'll be out so if anyone wants some practice NCing there's opportunities coming. |
