Very cool. Please post your frequency and time.

Dumb question (perhaps), what is CV-41?

I will attempt to do so, but this has proven difficult from the depths of these boats.

I plan to take a good look at the bands tomorrow and try to pick a likely band and thus a freq to use for Friday.

Very cool.  May have to sneak out to the truck for an early lunch.  I'm assuming 9AM PST, correct?

Any time I can I prefer 14.308...but I am a guest and will operate as the station dictates.

Yes, operating from the radio room...very cool indeed.

This will be my 3rd museum ship:

-USS Yorktown
-USS North Carolina
-USS Midway

I have been most impressed with the folks that keep these boats and their radio rooms alive.  If you have any interest in this type of operation I encourage you to contact these great clubs, they are genuinely interested in folks working their boats.

I'm listening around 14.320.  I've seen a few signals on 20m, but not a lot.

I was just there yesterday! Spent about 2.5 hours on there and drank a beer. The USS Nimitz (CV-68?) came in and headed out!

And it's over.

We ended up at 14324,  but mostly midwest/west callers.

They have wifi, but it was not working, sorry.
