I'm trying to find the thread about battery setups.  I know there was one that described chargers for AGM batteries but the search here is useless...

I need a second AGM charger but don't want to buy another like I already have, which is expensive.  There were some cheaper ones...

I use a Battery Tender.   Can't remember exactly what it cost.  Seems like it was $50 or $60.

I mounted it to the side of my workbench, and every two weeks I plug in the battery (power poles for the win) and let it charge for a few hours.  When not in use, the battery just sits on the work bench, not connected to anything.

Another vote for Battery Tender.

Just make sure it has 3 modes and will not damage AGM battery.

I guess I will just get another $50 battery tender.  The inexpensive one from a solar thread here turned out to be too weak to charge a 80ah battery.

My batteries will discharge sitting unconnected fairly fast, .like in a week.  They are UPS AGM batteries and they like to be floated.

So off to Amazon I go....

I just saw Battery Tenders in Costco if you're a member.  Price was around $40 IIRC

edit: for the larger 3 amp version, not the wall wart variety.

I have an AGM battery I use for truck camping as my house battery. It stays up with a Battery Tender too... which reminds me, I need to plug it back in after using it to charge everybody's phones at CWE
