It was almost a solid wall of magenta up to about 7050 then. It's the bad stations calling, the ops are mostly only working 10 up or less, so they'll never get them up there anyways. |

A couple ZS1 (South Africa) stations have been on 40 m JT65 the last day or so.
Bagged him. 10243 miles. That's as close to the antipode for me as you can get, without going to sea
Using 30 W, with my newly rebuilt carolina windom cut for 80 m. |

He was weak with QSB an hour ago when I got home from work, but clear and strong right now. You'll get him there, plenty of time left. I still need 10 and 20 meters to make 9 bands with them. |

10M is amazing this morning. I'm running a Yaesu 857D on solar/batteries with a Little Tarheel II as a ground mount at 100 watts and getting 59 reports all over Europe. That's the rig I was using to work Namibia, too. |
