We chatted a little, and I told the guy to stay dry and he said that was pretty much an impossible trick to accomplish there in the jungle. |

I saw a guy on 20M FT8 call him about twenty times today with "R-18", which indicates that he was chosen and replied. On a whim, I checked XU7GNY's log on Clublog and saw where the guy had indeed made the log for 20M FT8. In fact, it was his only contact. I sent him an email to let him know how that he was successful, but I haven't heard anything back. I wrote down his QSO details in case he needs them. I'd like for someone to do that for me if I was ever in that situation. |

The same thing happened with J38R today, but luckily I heard his error and corrected him quickly. Obviously that isn't the same as FT8 where there's no mistaking your call sign. Like you, I've had missing FT8 logs show up later. Good luck, as I know that's the last one you needed. |
