Added Echolink to my toolkit. Is the conference server listed in post 1 still the link? And what time in UTC is the net? I'm seeing times all over the place.

If someone is on a radio and were needing to connect through an echolink repeater or node, they would key 336037 and that would connect them.... Scoot |

Until something changes, I give up... I can connect and stay connected to other nodes/channels or whatever you want to call them.... but the ARFCOM channel treats me like a red headed step child.

Would love to join in. Echolink has the most ridiculous registration/validation process imagineable. So, I'm waiting for some(body/thing) at Echolink to validate my callsign even though I uploaded the official copy of the pdf, which the system accepted. So, I have no idea how long that's going to take.

I'll try to jump in on friday. I really gotta get a HF rig and antenna system. All studied up for my general, just being lazy about taking it.

Finally have my VHF/UHF stuff up and running. Hopefully I can join in this week.

It's Friday Lady's!
Get the hamster on the wheel and a clean rocks glass ready. |

Sorry, I'm going to miss tonight. I'll be on my way to the airport to pick up my brother. Departure for AZ will be tomorrow afternoon, or Sunday AM at the latest.

Hey Mike, I'm not going to be able to do the net tonight. I have to go to a Honda class after work and learn how to cut a 2017 Honda in half and then weld it back together. Mercedes uses glue and rivets. I like glue and rivets better.

Your pic has been immortalized on the Red Sky Ranch Faceflop page. Red Sky Ranch I don't know if people outside the group can see it, though. |

We expect a aar on stick or mig to put it back together. 2 hours 20 minutes until drink fest. |

I mentioned Extra class callsigns becoming available in the next couple weeks on the net tonight -- AE7Q is my go-to for tracking soon-to-be-available callsigns.

Joined it on Echolink for the first time today. Just a few folks and apparently no Arfcomers.
The Echolink cellphone app worked. Next I'll try the D-Star. What's the reflector? |

I have tried to get a link to ARLP 9257 and I get a message from my local echolink repeater that says "9257 not found"
does anybody have any hints to what I might be doing wrong. |

View Quote 9257 is irlp For echolink you should go looking for "DCF-ARC" confrence server. Or 336037 from the key pad if using a repeater. Put that in your favorites folder so you dont have to go searching again. |

But, as to your new question, sometimes. Echolink needs a "bridge" to talk to irlp. The western reflector and specifically the dcf-arc has a bridge. |
