I put out a couple of calls to you. The band is dead for ne, except for a POTA on 18145
I called for about 15minutes and no replies. I didn't hear you either. I though there was an opening to the states because I heard a couple signals, but it must have died.
There is a POTA from SoCal on 18145, that's all I'm getting on 17m

Roger that. You’re lighting the fire for me to get some new ones made with my actual call on them.

Sounds like a few of our net members made contact, that was cool. Best QSO I've made with you to date, great signal. I checked you into to our 40m net as a kind of relay. Anyway, if you want to do something like that again let us know. Our net starts at 1830 Central during the winter, probably going back to 1900C. |

View Quote I’d be down to sked a 10m or 12m pre net and maybe a 17m or 20m after the net if there’s interest. That’s about how the band propagation is lining up right now. The upper bands would allow the net to expand from the east coast to the west coast and I’ve requested that a few times. |
That sounds good. I know some us would be interested in trying that out, and it would be nice if it could become a part of the regular net. We need to get more people out West included. For that matter, someone out there could start a net that was convenient for those guys, and some Easterners or Midwesterners could try to check in to their net. Maybe two 40m regional nets with cross country on other bands.
Maybe hop into the Tues night net thread and we could try to coordinate. |
I can probably get just about anywhere in the country on 10m rn if anyone wants to try.
