Heard someone try now we have a station stepping on below us. I'm failing as net control

You're fine, conditions and my antenna aren't great. Now there's a tuner upper below.
The tuner uppers were some good ol boys on 3919 marking their territory. |
The noise just increased dramatically here within the last couple of minutes.
I'm occasionally hearing a station way, way down in the noise, but there's no way I'll pull it out if that's you. |

I'm up for trying 40 if anyone wants to.

Some kind of broad band noise started up here, it's the damndest thing I've seen. Nothing's getting through this
The ol' gunslinger is on 3916. Hello, Hello, Hello. |
I heard someone talking for about 10 seconds then they went back into the noise. I gave my call sign a few times for grins but nothing heard.

There's somebody on 7283, 30 over here, I'm getting a little bit of bleed over from them
I hear someone in the background but I've got high local noise there. I'm out of here in a moment anyways.

I've heard some voices. I've tried everything I can think of electronically. Narrowed my transmit bw.
I heard a KG7 station but I can't even pick out the whole call. |
Man if you had just a little more I could get you. I don't think you're hearing me. I've thrown on pre amps and everything to hear you.
Now someone is whistling to tune up on freq. Think I'm going to hang it up for tonight but had a good time none the less!

I heard the whistling as well. It was S7 |

View Quote The east coast crowd: me, Gyprat, Pilotman, DirtNasty (although I think his radio is in the shop), not sure who else, might be able to make it happen on 80M. Cubic Watts do help--those of us with amps can usually make comm's pretty well. What time and I'll try to make it? |
I should be available starting around 0145z if anyone else is up. I'm running barefoot and my antenna is pretty low to the ground but what the hell I'll give it a shot.

It's all packed around 3.898. We can try somewhere around 3.840-3.850. All I got is a lousy die-pole for 80 meters.
somebody on 840, 843, maybe 846, and someone tuning 848
ETA: someone on 850. Anybody from here? ETA: YAWN and out. |
Couple of guys having a chat on 3.898, I have to stay above 3.800. Someone want to pick a frequency and call CQ?
If you are W3P** I can hear you chatting, I'll call back after you get done
My call is W3R** ETA: W3P**, you have a good signal. I can't get out and don't want to go and mess with the antenna in the foot of snow. Could hear you calling CQ Arfcom and heard you chatting about screen name. Good Luck, 73. |
