The wife also said I'm cleared to have the big kitty mounted and placed above the mantle. Would totally be worth the $4k. |

I've been close to a few and was with a guy when he shot one. I've only had it as jerky. I guess it tasted ok, but I couldn't get it out of my head that it was a nasty old cat.

Cougar meat is a lot like veal in texture and color. It needs moisture in cooking to keep it from drying out.
If you ever get the opportunity, get a good Veal Parmesan recipe and substitute cougar for the veal. You can thank me after you try it.  |

I've had two different lions fixed several ways. My favorite was probably the breakfast sausage, it was just outstanding.
I've read that the old mountain men considered lions a delicacy. |
