They don't currently offer a cab on the 2 series. Even if they did I wouldn't want one. Will be used a lot in the woods. Cabs don't typically work well in the woods from my experience. View Quote Why not? I'm thinking about a tractor with a cab for my acreage... which is mostly woods. |

Lots of low hanging branches that beat the shit out of the cab. If you have a more open woods or want to keep everything trimmed back away from the cab it shouldn't be too bad. |

A friend is the sales guy at that that dealer and they wanted it gone. Gearbox is like new, barely used, just sat outside. I'll plasma out the bad sections and have a local shop laser me out 1/4" plate replacements and weld them in. Might have $250 in it total when I'm done View Quote |

Working on getting the switch wired in for the sprayer. One nice thing about this mower is everything folds out of the way for easy access.

Had a pretty productive Easter. Fiance got 4 rose bushes planted along the front porch. One in front of each post. We will be planting some more glads in here as well and then mulching over them.

We have been having problems with the eve trough on the front porch overflowing during moderate to heavy rains. The front porch is 60' long and drains about 1400 sq ft with only one 2"x3" downspout. No where near enough. While she was planting the roses I got another downspout installed at the opposite end of the porch.
Attached File Attached File I would like to think it looks a little better than the one that was already there. I will get around to making it match after we finish up all of the mulch here. Attached File The dogs got a chance to have some fun as well. All in all a good weekend! Attached File Attached File |

Down visiting my parents this weekend on their 40 acres in south east IN. The emerald ash borers have killed every ash tree on the property. The last few times we have gone down I've taken the 066 and put a few of the larger trees on the ground for dad. He can't run a big saw anymore. Once I get them down he can get them cut up with his smaller saws and cleaned up with the Bobcat. Also fell some of the more complicated trees for him, leaning a lot, hollow, etc...

The backyard is finally starting to look good. Still needs some fertilizer and 2,4-D. The spots that are grown up are where dirt is piled up. Will be taking care of those later this summer
Attached File Attached File We have an infestation of chipmunks/striped ground squirrels. Been worried about one of the dogs breaking a leg in a hole while running through the yard. Managed to get one of them while mowing tonight Attached File And in order to balance the universe I rescued a baby rabbit and got it back in the nest. I got their nest with the mower and this guy ran out. Thankfully didn't hit any of them. Attached File |

They're cuties, but sometimes cute things need to go elsewhere. Good on you about the rabbits. Hope the dogs are taught to not chase and kill.
