I'd research buying higher quality components.  If it's got a macerator pump, then nothing down the drains but TP.  They don't like feminine products and or baby wipes, no matter what they claim.

First you need  to know, aerators are not something you specific.  Its the latest greatest trend with the EPA crowd all over.  

Advice I can give you is find a neighbor with one very old house, go introduce yourself, and talk septic systems.  See what worked best before somebody dreamed up the stupid idea to run electric to a crap tank.  

Next understand water doesn't just disappear because you bubble air through it.  The water has to go somewhere or its going to back up into your house.  Its all a matter of how much water you put in and how long it takes the land to absorb it.  For example, the gravel in leech beds isn't absorbing the water, its really just holding it till the ground has time to absorb it.  Think of it as a big buffer tank.  These modern graveless systems are fantastic.  They're a lot easier to put in.  They're a half turtle shell that stores the water litterally like a tank giving it time to work into the soil.  What's neat about them is they go in a lot easier more of a ditch instead of field which means, you can get a lot more surface area with not near the hassle.  

Now not the popular response at all but its the truth.  Those of us on systems these days have to really skirt the rules sometimes.  If we're not careful, some bureaucrat who's only goal is get his cousin Billbobyjimjack more work can regulate your nice home to a barn.  Keep your goal in mind, that's not to pollute but that doesn't mean the counties way is the only way to get there.
