Just placed a screen over a high-flow type show fan and trap the blood suckers
Look how many he caught.  Not using anything to attract them, just taking care of the ones in the area.

Death to mosquitos!

Ive got mosquitos bad this year, and the area where I am is dry as a bone.  They seem to like the area under my gas grill and had a bad habit of following me indoors, or at least thats how I think they are getting in.  My kiddos are getting bitten at night.  Need to find something.
Might try something like this on a smaller scale for inside the house.

Pretty good idea, though I wonder how much juice those fans use being on 24 hours a day. I've ran them in shops before but never bothered to see what kind of amps they draw or anything.

Just thought I would report back on the success I had.  I tried using just an old box fan and some window screen held on by bungee cords.  First night I caught probably 50-100 skeeters.  Even more the next night.  Not much after that, then the 4rth night again another 50-100 skeeters.  Its getting cooler now, so I think they have stopped coming out, but the fan + window screen gimmick works!  Its like a skeeter-vaccum!  I even caught the 3-4 that were loose in the house.  Just left it inside running while I was at work.

This is a cool idea, skeeters have been BAD in south Texas this year.
