I was at Wal-Mart today, but I didn't go through the whole store. I doubt that kind of stuff was there though.

Forgot to buy Mason jars while I was there I've yet to see anything of that sort at any of the wal-marts around here, Elkins, Weston, Cburg, Mo-town. Been a while since I was to some, but I know Elkins doesn't have that stuff. |

We're screwed in the NorthEast. No Ammo Deals and no pallets of storeables. We make do with what we can get.
|
|
if someone is near a walmart with it, take a picture of the shelf tag thing of a 10lb can and post it.
|
|
Same here in Oregon. They especially have a lot of the Auguson Frams stuff
|
|
The local home depot has started carrying food grade buckets and gamma lids
|
|
All three walmarts in my area have whole sections probably 3x the size of the one in the picture. It's decently priced too. We have had these sections for several years already.

Damn. Never seen anything like that here in VA.
Shenandoah valley area or Hampton roads |

My WM hasn't even brought the guns back yet... |

The word is out about preppers and ammo hogs. Don't ever think for a minute that manufacturers and retail outlets like Walmart are not going to take
advantage. Now I'm not saying that nothing will happen, I don't know. Just remember the nature of supply and demand.

Damm would never see that here in CT stores. Their asiles are all full of pallets of DVD's for $5.00.
I do like the water drums can ya ship me some? |

Which tells me that there are tons of baa baa sheep around here, being as I haven't seen such things in my 2 local Walmarts. Funny, during the Obama Panic, the local gun shop had not sold many EBRs either, though truth be told they mostly stock Fudd guns. |

Are those blue things 10 gallon water containers? 15 gal |

The Ruckersville, VA store has the smaller white/clear poly water jugs, but I have not seen any other prep supplies.
However: 1. I don't visit the store much 2. I don't get very far past the ammo section I will inquire more about any possibilities of future LTS food and prep related items when I am there next. |

Thats Great I wish my walmarts would get there stuff together ( Colorado )

I was bummed because all the Augusan food has been missing from the Walmart in my town. Today I went in and much to my suprise theres now 4x the freeze dried goods there used to be.. And food grade buckets with gamma lids.. Walmart execs know theres something rotten in Denmark, or they are cashing in on the scared 2012ers. Either way its great for me. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w77/jdmdavey/2012-02-14_16-08-40_581.jpg Seriously.... please get some close up pictures of the sku- or bar code tags on every thing on that shelf..... |

That's great for your area. Here in SoCal there is almost nothing of use, very small "Camping/Outdoors" section, and no real bulk foods.

That's great, wish they'd sell some of those blue water barrels at my local wal-mart, I'd like to pick up a few.

The wall mart in Burley Idaho has about 20 times that much but that's Mormon country you can learn a lot from about food storage Don

I buy Mountain House from my walmart. They only have 5 meal selections but I have been hoping that my purchases would provide the incentive to up the product choices. So far no luck.
