I'm getting into trolling a bit and just picked up a Avet 30/2 EXW to go along with my 50's. The 30 will be used for targeting mostly wahoo and mahi but occasionally we get into yellow fin and marlin. My question is, do you all think  a 30-50 rod is to light for this or should I go 30-80?

50lb Momoi Diamond, it's pretty much gonna be for women that come out fishing with us.

That should do it unless you are really planning to muscle them in...

It will get interesting if a marlin is hooked up on that combo!

30/50 or 40/60 custom. You should take a look at Connley Fishing. They have a 30/60 Frigate trolling rod for $189.00. It's a badass rod.
