We love SC except for the taxes. HHI is our favorite beach. Greenville is a lot like Chattanooga except it has PSA there which was great. Good job

Aren't 4473s regulated by Federal agencies? If so, they could just deny the entire state purchasing power, no?

I would only offer that unfortunately SC is already full.

ETA: plus the humidity. Yankees would melt.

At this point, symbolic, half step measures like these are just band-aids on an axe wound. We know where things are headed.

Indeed. BBQ in the Carolinas in the worst. Definitely a reason to avoid moving here.

I can tell you have never been to new england. I have been to FL, while it isn't as constant as FL our humidity gets just as bad.

There’s a reason we have PSA, FN and PTR in SC.

I think you meant M2.

1.  The National Guard is not Militia.
2.  For over one hundred years the federal militia was REQUIRED by law to own their own guns, guns suitable for military use, along with ammo and accessories.  See the Militia Act of 1792.

Anyone who has seen my desk at work would agree I qualify for unorganized.

Where do I sign up?

FWIW, I look at it as a fall back position.  My reasoning is that there is no guarantee that a future Supreme Court will say what we know the 2nd Amendment means, that we have an individual right to keep and bear arms.  Even though they have ruled we do in the past, they can always "revisit" their decision, like interstate sales being subject to STATE sales taxes.  They will apply it corporately, to the "militia."

Having militia laws is a way around it.  If they apply the 2A only to the militia, then you can possess firearms as a member of the militia.

I still believe states need organized local militias, under state control, as a counterbalance to the Federal Government.  Like we had before the Dick Act became law in 1904.

If they really had balls, they’d use June 25, 1934 as the date, not December 31, 2020

Beef is only good for hamburgers and steak.
Let us southerners handle the BBQ since nobody else seems capable of even comprehending the basics of protein selection much less the intricacies of spice and sauce creation and useage. GA, SC, NC, TN, and sometimes ALA have BBQ on lockdown and can't be rivaled much less beaten in the BBQ arena.

It's sad, I was looking forward to people moving here and telling me how things are done in a more civilized fashion.
