Do you brush your teeth and finish grooming in the kitchen sink after a shower? I don’t understand this design. I would prefer a wet bath instead of a dry bath without a sink.

Less plumbing means more profit for the builder.

My most limiting factor is a want to stay as close to 3000 lbs dry as I can. My tow vehicle is a Toyota 4Runner with 5000lb tow capacity.

I’ve linked one camper below without a sink in the bathroom but I have seen several different models from different brands that don’t have a bathroom sink.

I really like this one but I have two kids and one would have to sleep on an air mattress. It has a sink in the bathroom.

Because the existing space would limit the sink to the size of a cereal bowl?

Those are pretty small campers for camping with two kids. I have a 19ft for just the wife and I, and at times it seems cramped.

My favorites are the ones with no shower surround (bare walls!) and no heater, only a fireplace.

One child is gone to college in a year and the 2nd one is right behind her. I think I can manage a couple of years being cramped and when it’s just my wife and I we have the right size camper without needing to buy a different one.

Then buy the camper you and your wife want, toss a tent to the kids. They can sleep outside.

If you are looking at a standard Goshen Indiana produced piece of glue and staples shit, you will find that the less plumbing it has , the greater the likelihood that it will still have a floor in it in 5 years.

The one(s) that have the features you are looking for with a welded metal superstructure and little/no wood because water intrusion in a travel trailer is an inevitability.

The Indiana built shit is of notoriously low quality. Materials, construction, everything. Don't just get in one and say "Ooh, hey that looks nice". Open doors, drawers, cabinets. Look at fitment and all the shot through fasteners, pinched wiring and cheapest Chinese shit plumbing you can imagine, get under it and look at the welds then imagine what all of that is going to look like in 5 years.

I spent 2 years trying to find a domestically produced trailer that fit my criteria and wasn't built by blind monkeys on meth, in the end I had one built in Australia (SniperX-12) and shipped which came with it's own problems, if I was doing it again I would lean heavily toward Antishanty although I did look at Taxa

If you are not in a rush, I highly recommend one of the Overland Expos (West ,PNW,Mountain West,East) you will see stuff that you never knew existed.

We're shopping for an RV now and discussing what useless features we wish weren't always included. Bathroom sink was top of my list.

I would rather have a bigger shower than a sink five feet from another sink.
