I shot this guy in 2020, my first season bow hunting. Hit him behind the elbows. He bled and laid a good trail and bed down. When I came up on hime he took off never to be seen again that year. We found his sheds in March 2021 dropped within 30ft. 2021 season I only saw him on trail cam and had one mangled antler and one similar to 2020. Never found a shed. Thought he died but saw him late season 2022 after I harvested another big buck. Both antlers symmetrical.  This year he's a beast.  First time I saw him was 10/31 and at 5pm. Perfect time but had to take the kids for candy. I got out of work early today and at 530 as I was walking to my stand I spooked him 20 yards from my stand. Saw his rack and tail. Had been feeding on some corn and near a lick. I shot a 13 last year but this guy is a monster 12. I'm amazed hes stayed near the 140 acres he's on in the city.

Wish me luck.

That's a dandy for sure.  Congrats on a very nice buck.   Where in MO? You mentioned outside the city are you around STL or KC?

Very nice.   Congratulations!
This guy is my dream deer.  Strictly nocturnal so far.   Second day of rifle season today.  Hoping he shows up.
