Well, slide up to 7.292 and call. I've been calling CQ on 290 just above the tuner(s).

Heard something.....pretty weak, didn't get the call. Replied with mine.

I thought I could hear a KP#xx, waaaaaayy down in there. Sometimes I wish I wasn't just some damn no code extra or I could figure a way out of this..
|
|
I'm hearing a couple waaaay down there. 40 is S8 for noise tonight.

Exactly, the propagation just isn't there at the moment. I did get the full call, so I know yours now!

Now see, if we were all running a weak signal protocol.......

Someone is trying to talk through their keyer
n/m I think its a carrier from 2kc down |

Use your notch filter to zero out the tuning signal. If they both get going again, switch your notch filter to the 'wide' function if you have one. Dropping the top end of your bandpass will also help a little. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Seriously, you guys should try 20m right now. It's crowded, but we might find a spot. 14.312 is clear for me.

Somebody close is contesting on 14.313 (LOL), how about 14.309?

NR5M is not staying on one freq, so don't worry about the contest. If we are able to start a QSO we should be OK. And 295 is open here at the moment. I'll call CQ. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

When you worked the HI station I heard your entire QSO no problem. Ah well. I guess I'll just tune around and then hit my usual 75m NTS net on 3.975 at 1900 Pacific. Good try fellas. |
