Yep, increasing the tube length is best, especially for longer extensions.
Typically with longer mag extensions, if they're so long that the entire follower (and a round or two) ends up down inside the extension part when fully loaded, it has a potential for a hang-up to occur when it tries to travel back up into the main mag tube past the junction, and that could be worsened by the micro Dagger mags because of the plastic flashing bits inside from the front overmolding. I'd probably not use an extension that long on the stock mag, would have to look at the geometry but one where all the loaded rounds and the top of the follower remain inside the mag tube when full would probably be more reliable.
