[email protected] You have to send it to that email and not regular CS email. And if you don't have an account at AK files with 50 posts you would not be able to see that email because PSA has not posted any "Special" email address here on ARF in the vendor section only over there (a much smaller site with a fraction of the traffic) In fact PSA has not responded to this thread since that offer to replace the cast carriers was made...on the other site. All part of the damage control I guess??? And here is a new twist in the "Story" the CS manager is in today, she was out yesterday I am told, but her phone is not working so she couldn't talk to me when I called and waited on hold for an hr. today. This is the same CS manager that promised to call me back when I spoke with her on the phone back when it was working earlier this week. Apparently at PSA, there is only one phone that an individual is allowed to use, and if it is "broken" there is no other phone they can use... |

Yeah that's the one I emailed. I only knew about because I saw the thread at akfiles. I am bamajosh over there. Really disappointed in the lack of communication here at arfcom from PSA.

View Quote Indeed. If you look at the site statistics it is clear that ARF gets massive amounts more traffic that AKfiles. That is a nice site and all but no ARF If you truly wanted to get the word out to as many folks as possible wouldn't you at a minimum post information as important as this in all of your vendor sections on the various sites you have? Maybe even put up a notice on your website about your "Good Faith" offer to upgrade our rifles for FREE!! |

I'm not saying I will never buy from them again. But their activity regarding this product seems shady. Maybe unintentional, but it still happened and the same story was repeated multiple times on video.

IM'd the PSA account at AKFiles a few hours back. Still nothing.

No doubt this is an ar forum. But this PSA AK47 got me interested in ak's. I watched rob ski's torture test and thought what the hell. I just don't being deceived. Give me the same product. I'm sure there are a lot of PSA customers here on arfcom. Maybe not ak enthusiasts, which I am not.
Edit by PSA: This is an AR forum. The response here on AK related posts from AR15.com members has been minimal, so we post where the demand is. As a rule, we do not post AR issue contact information on the AK files site - it would be off topic there. With limited resources, we monitor and respond to inquiries where we can. If you have a specific technical question, we ask that you create a new thread, rather than hijack an old one. AR15.com members are welcome to IM us at any time if they have a question about their PSA products. |

I put a yhm mount on my Draco so I put put my can on it but it was way over gassed and super heavy with it on.
Thanks, I think it'll be pretty cool. I'm doing all the work myself because local smith's wanted $3-400 just to pull the barrel, thread it and pin it. We'll see how it turns out! |

Got a reply back from PSA.
Joshua,
Your rifle is the same as the one tested by Robski. It has a billet bolt and front trunion, with a cast carrier and rear trunion. If you have any further questions, please let me know. Thanks, Joe Weir Palmetto State Armory 2121 Old Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29172 View Quote |

Out of the blue I get a UPS shipping label from PSA. I have emailed them back to find out if it is for the carrier. Just to be sure.

Here is the response back after inquiring if the label is for the carrier.
Thank you for the inquiry.
If you wish to have the carrier replaced just send it back with the call tag. Be sure to include your serial, as the offer did not include rifles, and I want to make sure your carrier is engraved correctly. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Joe View Quote |

Well PSA has started to lock threads now. The moderator locked my thread (about no sling loop) and now wants to IM everything.
I thought this forum was so we could discuss in the open so everyone could benefit from the discussion? I guess when you are trying to hide your mistakes and lies you don't like open discussion. Edit by PSA: In an attempt to provide a build kit the customer really wants, we have had several versions, with various options, in the two years we have been producing AKs. Some of those did not have sling loops on the handguards, and Magpul, at that time, did not offer a handguard with a loop cutout. This was not a secret, nor was there any intent to mislead. There are several AK models that do not have sling loops in the handguard retainer, as a simple google search will reveal. We have tried to answer your questions, and direct you to a medium where we can assist. To date there has not been a response to our IM. You are posting in our paid technical forum. This forum is a courtesy to our customers, but it is not a General Discussion, or a free for all for language, or a license to be rude or insulting, or for hijacking others threads. We have Moderation rights in this forum, and will use them. Posters that refuse to be mature and engage in civil discourse may be banned from this forum. |
