Any update on release? With MKE/Century, PTR and now Zenith back in the game there is a MP5 revolution happening.

Read online it’s Q3 release time frame. Some stores online are doing preorders now.

I emailed Magpul asking when the sticks were going to ship and their response was.
Thank you for reaching out to Magpul. While we certainly love talking about our products, we cannot comment on future release dates and are not taking any pre-orders at this time. That product is in development and goes through an extensive quality control process and like most other manufactures, we are experiencing supply issues which are causing delays. If you haven’t already done so, please set up an account at magpul.com and sign up for our newsletter, this is the best way to get information on the status of our products. Please let me know if you have any other questions. |

Had some delays as we changed the locking piece to pass all mil-spec drop tests. Looking at some time in November for a ship date. We are producing now.

Awesome, thanks for the update!

Any new timeframes yet?

Ordered mine back in May from Brownells. Maybe it will be a nice Xmas present this year if released.

Shipping. How many positions? Does it include a buffer? |
|
|
Is it entirely made of polymer?
|
|
Stumbling on the stepstool of mediocracy...
|
So I just talked to them on the phone:
1. The latch is plastic 2. The stock is only two position (open and closed). 3. No buffer is included in the stock assembly 4. The bars are steel. Everything else is polymer. I was hoping for a 3-5 position stock with steel hardware. Magpul knocked it out of the park with their lower. This stock is aimed down market unfortunately. |
|
|
Is a buffer necessary if they don’t include one?

I’m sure someone crafty will be able to make this 3-5 position with an end mill or dremel easy enough. Think hk parts offered this as a service for other stocks. I get that magpul went traditional with the open close 2 position, but more positions would have sold more butt pads for them as well. Either way nice to see an affordable option on the market & im excited to get my hands on one.

I’m certain the buttpad is better than the stock A3 |

Does anyone know if they’re making one for the hk93?
