My normally excellent gunsmith put together a rifle from parts for me that I sourced online and the front sight was canted, to make things worse he didn’t use any form of assembly grease and the barrel would not come off. ( I used to do my own assembly but I’m disabled from a stroke and only have the use of one hand) I took it into ADCO based on their excellent reputation here and I was NOT disappointed. Overnight they fixed the cant for a third of the price I was expecting. The rifle zeroed perfectly aligned in the C7 Carry handle upper. I can’t tell you how relieved I was I’d been looking for a C7 for over a year and couldn’t stand the thought of having to scrap it.
While I was there I was sold a new old stock Aero Precision 16” middy barrel for a low but fair price. That is now on a Nodak Spud M16A1 upper and it’s an excellent shooter as well.
I also bought a used like new RRA 9mm 16” barrel and it’s now my “556 ammo shortage” range rifle. If you haven’t built a 9mm or .22 AR15 I would suggest you do until supply again catches up with demand.
They also cut down an old barrel I had and threaded it for a .22 pistol Han Solo build I’m doing. I got that back in less than a week.
Great guys. Great prices and great service. I am very grateful they are there for us black rifle folks.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to tell someone or everyone.
