Just stumbled on you all's page. I see it's not really generating much talk on the DB9. Figured I'd post up just to give you guys a little credit. I got a gen 2 or 3 DB9 a couple years ago. It was a complete and utter POS. I was reluctant to contact you guys about it cause I figured you'd want me to send it back and my remote duty station makes that "difficult". I went ahead and reached out on the advice of a member of another forum. The customer service I got was great. I was sent parts to essentially rebuild the gun. While I preferred the longer double action trigger that originally came in the gun, once all the parts were installed, my DB9 has run great. While I wish the gun was right from the factory, you guys did great by me and I'm actually looking to pick up a couple more of them now. I at least have confidence that you guys will make it right if the ones I pick up don't run right.

I had to send my DB9 (first gen ?) back for repair.

A month later I got an acknowledgment of receipt by DB which stated in bold and underlined text "Also please send us a copy of your FFL. No repairs will be done to the firearm untill we receive the FFL. You can fax or email it to us. ".

There is no ATF requirement that a repaired or replaced pistol go through an FFL.

Will you really refuse to return my pistol directly to me?

Decided to pick up a DB9 - Got it from my FFL today, feels solid. Will get back with a range report when can. Expecting to go in a few days. Excited!

Follow up a few months down the road - Tough gun to shoot, hurts like a mofo, took 100 rounds or so to break in runs reliably the last 100. Will not be an edc, but pending another 100 or so reliable will be an occasional deep CC / fanny pack carry. The form factor is amazing.
