They have canceled this trigger and will not be available. Sorry folks Wally world is closed.

According to the live stream, these are happening. And soon.
Brownells will be the first to have them for a little while before the rest ship out. |

Would this trigger be better than a s3g for 3 gun type purposes?

Anyone want to bet the new R700 trigger will be available before these are?

Just got my SSP, the break is very crisp with no creep, takeup, or anything else besides a definite wall. The trigger resets right where you started and is very tactile and noticeable. So far, with just dry fire, I love this thing. I'm a little scared that after I get some range time with it that I'm going to want this thing in all my ARs now.

I own many Geissele 2-stage triggers but would have to feel an SSP for myself before I pay $100 more than I did for my CMC single stage units.
Does anyone have experience with the either the 3.5 or 4.5 CMC to compare? |

Probably today. I got an email now saying order is processing

Got my flat faced SSP today and threw it in a rifle.
I'll say, it's definitely a smile maker. Insane break. Reset is a little longer than my SSA-Es I'm so used to, but that pull is insane. No travel at all. Great for a gun you plan to run a little faster. Still prefer my 2 stages for longer range stuff, but this has me reconsidering all my SBRs. |

The Gen1 that i had had very similar result, to put it in perspective, it kinda feels like a 1911 on an ed brown trigfger kit or a M&P with the forward set sear trigger. I am in canada, so mine is still stuck at custom. Hopefully 1 day, they get off their collective bottom and release it back into the postal system.

Flat bow inbound, I’m in the process of switching all of my curved triggers to flat.

I wrote this in the "SSP Available Now" thread up top yesterday:
My flat faced SSP, or SD-SSP as they are calling it now, arrived yesterday from brownell's pre-order back in March. I installed it today. It's really nice. I don't have a trigger gauge but I am guessing it breaks right at 3lbs. Heavier than my lightest bolt gun trigger, but it also feels lighter than my SD-E (flat SSA-E). Definitely happy with my purchase. I will also add, if your one of those shooters who likes to ride out the reset it feel like it takes less than a pound to break the next shot. It's insane. Definitely not a trigger for shooting off of the bench. Bill Geissele said he wanted it to feel like a good single stage bolt gun trigger and he definitely delivered on that promise. |

I've got to be missing something here because I'm curious why the SSP, a single-stage trigger, looks like a two-stage trigger.

Just ordered a second flat face SSP from Brownells, while I wait on my Geissele order.
