What are the potential outcomes of this? I support Gov Perry 100% |
Well unless the TX Judicial process is a lot faster than most it means almost certainly no run in '16
Perry had my vote from Washington State and I wanted to see him run in 2016! How can he be charged with all the other BS that has gone on!!! Wow!!!
Expect to see more of this leading up to 2016. They want Billary or Fauxcohauntas in office and will stop at nothing to take down any conservative challenge

Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R) and Tom DeLay (R) were both "Indicted" here in Texas, and both had charges dismissed.
Problem is that it took YEARS to go through the Legal Process. As a Texan, this sucks. I've always said the hell with the Presidency - we wanted him as our Governor - same with Bush. But now that it's his last Term - I was really looking forward to him running again. Don't see how he can possibly run with the words "Indicted" and "Felony" hanging over his head - even though we all know it's complete BULLSHIT!!! The Dems/Libs are going to have a field day with his ... |

Just a sign that Perry is a real contender. Even David Axlerod is saying this is a stretch and nothing more than politics.
Even national Dems are saying this is a sketchy indictment...
He lined item vetoed funding for the department of a crooked POS. He (Perry) said he will not fund with tax payer money a crook, or the fraud that that department was involved in. That is how I heard it. Not a big deal, a grand jury hand picked by a bunch of leftist progressives, commies, socialist. See the rub. They are doing anything they can to stop Perry from running. Won't work. Just my take and opinion.
The local radio station cut in to carry Perry's response - he's fired up and sounds like he's ready to fight!
Be nice to see some careers actually end over that drunk bustin' a move.
Just another attempt by the lefties to shift the concentration of the people from the traitor-in-chief and control the conversation.

This whole thing is making my brain hurt. If I have the facts correct, Gov Perry was indicted as a result of an investigation conducted by a Special Prosecutor appointed by the Public Integrity Unit, because Gov Perry vetoed the budget line that funded the office headed up by an individual that pleaded guilty to a DUI and had demanded special treatment since she was the Travis County District Attorney and the head of the Public Integrity Unit.
I'm getting dizzy just trying to proof read that sentence. Bottom line, Gov Perry used his constitutional authority and took action to remove the funding for the Public Integrity Unit. This is the same unit that brought charges against Tom Delay (sp) and Kay Bailey Hutchison. Those charges were dropped in both cases. The lesson here is be sure to get out and vote this coming election. I don't care if your are sick lame or lazy, get off your ass and get out and vote. |

The videos of that drunk never got a lot of media attention the first time around. Hopefully these stupid indictments rectify that problem.

In the days of Obama nothing is more offensive and threatening to the demwit party than a public official doing his job.

wow, heard PMSNBC even say these charges are bogus and should be dismissed.

Makes me wonder if she was apprised of the soon-to-be charges, or did she get this sprung on her? Interesting. I was thinking since she heads the Public Integrity Unit she would have had final approval on whether to go to the Grand Jury. Makes me sad I live in Travis County. |

I spent many years in law enforcement some of which were working for the Dallas District Attorney’s Office as an investigator.
The grand jury system in Texas is very much a kin to the “Star Chamber” activities in 1600 Salem where influential members of the community met and decided which individuals were witches absent any form of a trial. Members of the grand jury are most often recommended for service by the “District Attorney” to the judge who presides over the grand jury, the judge usually follows the recommendation of the “District Attorney” for service on the grand jury. I was personally appalled at the number of “DOG” cases that were indicted in comparison to the cases that were “No Billed” very rarely did the defendant have any idea when the case would be herd eliminating any challenge to the proceedings. The “State” is always represented by a assistant District Attorney, the assistant District Attorney always makes recommendations on which cases were “True Billed” and which cases are “No Billed” I never saw the grand jury not follow the recommendation of the assistant District Attorney. The are a few statutes in the Texas Penal code that I feel that the elected District Attorney in Travis County has violated; Official Oppression and Retaliation just to name a couple of violated statutes, I am sure there may be more statutes violated but 3:38 am MST as I write this response the foolishness so I am not as sharp as I might normally be. Anyone can be indicted by the grand jury the onus is on the affected party to defend himself or herself, an indictment by the grand jury does not in any manner have any association to “Guilt” or innocents of the citizen accused. It is theoretically possible for a ham sandwich to be indicted for being pork. I will stand with Rick Perry! |

Fuck Lehmberg and fuck Travis county. She had to be restrained and had a spit mask put on because she could not control herself. Imagine if she'd been a conservative and the tape was released........ All part of the "turn Texas blue" playbook.

By definition Rosemary Lehmberg is a Peace Officer in the State of Texas and therefore governed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education, better known as T.E.C.L.O.S.E. The following excerpt dictate from the T.E.C.L.O.S.E. web site (http://www.tcole.texas.gov/sites/default/files/documents/le_careers_lic_requir_11.pdf (page4)
Medical and Psychological Requirements section (B)” show no trace of drug dependency or illegal drug use after a physical examination, blood test, or other medical test; and declared in writing by that professional to be in satisfactory psychological and emotional health to serve as the type of officer for which the license is sought. This examination must be conducted pursuant to professionally recognized standards and methods:” Conviction History: section b “ has never been convicted of an offense above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or a Class B misdemeanor within the last ten years:” This brings about a couple of burning questions; does Rosemary Lehmberg have an alcohol abuse issue, has any administrative action been taken by T.E.C.L.O.S.E. to suspend Lehmberg For the remainder of the ten-year period following her conviction for the Driving While Intoxicated charge? Is Rosemary Lehmberg a licensed Concealed Handgun holder? My recollection of the laws governing those who have a CHL dictate that those who are packing may not consume any alcoholic beverage, Based on the reporting by Fox news District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg purchased seventy two bottles of Vodka in just over a year period of time at the same store. time Gov. Perry indicted: Everything's big in Texas, even this B.S. I not rushing to judge Rosemary Lehmberg, anyone who takes the time to read this story on Fox news will most likely have the same question that I have; is Rosemary Lehmberg psychologically fit to serve as the highest ranking law enforcement official in Travis County, Texas. Fox news has been playing a video of Rosemary Lehmberg made at the Travis County Jail by deputies who were on duty at the time of Rosemary Lehmberg’s arrest. Rosemary Lehmberg had to be physically restrained in a restraint chair and can be seen wearing a spit mask, the video depicts Rosemary Lehmberg being an abusive drunk when dealing with the Travis County deputies. Dealing with a Liberal drunk abusive member of the” Estrogen Jihad” is not an enjoyable experience especially when they might have a bit of political power. I would invite everyone to either watch or record Hannity on Fox news tonight; Governor Perry will be a guest on the show. |

In for the Rick Perry legal defense fund Dillo...
This sucks though, talk about your classic case of dirty politics. I hope that this blows up in everyone involved's faces, but I doubt it will. Now back to my state where the Dem challenger to our Republican governor is explaining how he was found in a car, in a secluded parking lot, at 4am, with a woman who isn't his wife, but they were just talking. This and the fact that he has been driving with no license for over 10 years. Sadly the D in front of his name will carry him a long way in OH especially with all of the union hatred for our current Governor. |

For those of you in the New Orleans area, do you remember the commie democrat from the NO city council who was clocked and stopped doing over a hundred mikes per hour on I-10 and when they pulled her over she jumped out her car and said "do you know who I am"? The cop said I sure do as he stuffed her in the back of the cruiser....
This slob (I wanted to use another word that started with a "s") had it coming. 77 |

They know they don't have a leg to stand on ..... they don't need one. If they loose .. they win. No Perry. Like the one of the posted said. they could bring a grand jury for a ham sandwich being pork ..... doesn't matter. That's not what they are after ...... This is corruption at its best. |
