I've had folks say "Mark, no really, you should keep the most accurate ones" ...
Does anyone have a milk parlor I can turn into a vault ? |
|
Wow... I want a new barrel in my OBR 762 !!!
Mine is broken, its only Sub-MOA... all these Sub-Half MOA rifles posted week after week.... insane. |
|
It would be interesting to see the best shots of the day and the worst shots of the day. It would give the consumer an idea of what they will receive from the best to the worst. Not trying to be an ass, but I would like to see the low end of the accuracy spectrum as well. FYI I am a Larue junky when it comes to optic mounts, they are the only mounts I will buy. They are the best on the planet in my opinion. I would just like to see the lower end of the accuracy spectrum. I really want a predator OBR to shoot against my KAC ECC. Seeing how well the best of the lot shoots get me really excited for a gun 60% of the price of KAC guns.

So I don't know if the best and worst tells us much. |

Wow. Getting hard to pick the best of the week hu
Lot's of flight references lately yet the pilot report doesn't get updated... Here maybe this will help get you started. Guy pretty much lives my retirement dream, even from my hometown. |

Not necessarily looking for best to worst, but an average low and high in the groups. The groups Mark is posting are amazing! :)

Would like to see a couple of groups shot from the same rifle on two consecutive days or on the same day with two shooters. Just a one time experiment. Anyone else in for such a test?

I was so excited to pick up my 16" 5.56 predatOBR a few weeks ago (ordered 12-01-2013). I have to admit being disappointed after following the 'best of pics', when I saw my test target was .769. I am getting my scope this week and am looking forward to seeing what it is capable of. Hopefully I have an "I beet the shootist" post in my near future. |

Good to know I can recoup at least some of my investment.
I will reserve sale until I shoot it with a scope. I put ten rounds through it with no sights and it felt great. Incredible workmanship, but like the other posts said, when you spend a month checking "best of the days" like we have been seeing you hope to at least be sub 1/2. I'm not discouraged yet ... |

Dear Sir,
My 16" FG 7.62 tOBR upper was left on your loading dock by UPS at 11:07 this morning. As my 18" MG 7.62 tOBR upper is only capable of groups of .332"; please replace my 16" FG with the 18" MG that shot a .176" group. Warmest Regards, Fr8dog All kidding aside, thank you Mark and the crew at LaRue tactical for building rifles that are a pleasure to shoot. Free time and spare change are too precious to spend on firearms that don't measure up to my LT rifles. |

Poly sale, costa's, t-shirts, Christmas deadline, yada yada yada.

there were a total of 15 PredatOBRs 18" 7.62 rifles among the rifles being 3-shot proof-grouped today. All 15 rifles averaged .5947". Here is a pic of the 6 best. A .275", a .322", a .396", a .398", a .532", and a .570". The guys said every one of them passed first time. Keep in mind there has only been about a dozen rounds each go down each of these take-down rifle barrels. 10-shots or none guys can play it out in your heads that it doesn't matter that 15 straight take-down 308s today shot an average 100-yard 3-shot group of .5947", with several 2s and 3s mixed in. Or not. . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v145/AUSTINWFT/LT%20Post/photo_zpsf44a5b03.jpg View Quote Brilliant….Just Brilliant! Any 7.62 OBR's get caught up within that bunch? |
