* * * * * * * * * * UPDATED * * * * * * * * * * Check to make sure your info is correct. If you have a rifle or an upper on the list, check both spreadsheets. NTM: "But it ain't about how hard you can hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" Rocky Balboa…. like I said everyone sometimes it's not so much "knowing" the quote as it is just being the first to respond. and you have now won the award for being on here way too much... lol I can't argue that but if tobr's were moving, I would not be |

I was told well over a year for a PredatOBR.
Got on the list anyway. Who cares if you are purchasing a LaRue its likely not your 1st AR. I'm sure it will be worth the wait |

The OBR will be my first AR , too. Glad to hear. I went onto the general discussion area and asked everyone what they thought was the best AR (not best for the price or best for the SEALS or best for putting in the safe). I asked for the most accurate AR with a monolithic rail that would guarantee to be the most reliable gun on the market. I don't give a crap about "close quarter combat" and "zombies" and "home defense." I wanted the most accurate gun with the most reliable reputation. I didn't give a crap what it would do to a zombie. I didn't give a crap about "home defense" with an AR. Everyone told me that, with money not being an issue, either go JP or Larue. With most JP rifles, you can't build on them or get ar15 uppers to replace stuff over time, so I came to Larue. |

I have plenty of pistols and shotguns for home defense. I'm not into the zombie thing, whatever that might be. |

Bingo ... exactly ... my first as well. Got a liberty full of rifles but this is my first AR PredatOBR will be my first AR also. Accuracy and reliability are key for me. If you have both then you have a versatile weapon that's good for targets, hunting, CQB, home defense, etc. No one rifle can be all things, but a 16" AR that's accurate and reliable can sure do a lot of things well. |

People keep asking me what gun store is selling the tARs in stock. I'm only relaying the information from the earlier post. It's called The Gun Store in Cedar Park, TX. They are selling for $1800. I have no clue if they have any left. I tried calling today, but they are closed on Sundays.

I don't mean to bash any brands, for I'm sure Liberty will stop the average criminal or child from getting easy access. Last summer, I talked with Curt from CE Safes, and he talked me into a Fort Knox. I know most people stray from Fort Knox because, although they are the best, they are so expensive. He just designed his own line of Fort Knox safes called the M2 series that is incredibly affordable and still comes with the Knox warranty and service. |

This Just posted on LaRues' Facebook:
They say “good things come to those who wait”. In the case of those patiently waiting on their LaRue rifle, we've been making an all-out effort to make it true. It’s no secret that information regarding our rifles is closely-guarded, but it's now time to let folks know what we’ve been up to for well over a year. Building rifle barrels from scratch straight out of 12' long bars has been one hell of an endeavor. Without going into much detail, for some time now we’ve been pressured by more than a few outside interests to bring the manufacture of our barrels in-house. This in no way is a reflection of the barrels we have outsourced since way back when - we spec'd them out, inspected them in, and are damn proud of their performance over the years. LaRue rifles in customer hands are renowned for their accuracy and will provide many years of outstanding service. The decision to make our own barrels was a natural progression for this company's quest to do it all. It took a substantial investment in modern equipment, infrastructure, engineering, training and R&D. It also simplifies supply chain management when it's coming from in-house. All of this has taken time, quite a bit more time than originally estimated. Judging from results we've been getting, LaRue barrels might well one day be considered among the finest barrels found on production rifles. As you know, we set the bar high, and spare no expense. As proud as we are and as much as we’d like to share more, we’re keeping the specifications close to the chest. We can and will say our reputation for accuracy and performance will remain unblemished. Mark LaRue |
|
It also came in an Email. I don't care if it doesn't have an estimate. The fact is, they finally have an update and told us something. Thank you Mark Larue. Thank you Larue Tactical. I have faith now.

I have a ton of stripped lower receivers from Spikes, but I need to build on them once I get money after my business starts next year. Hopefully, by next summer, I'll have a safe full of Larues and custom builds. I got a quote today for Cerakote of a complete tAR 7.62 with can, AFGII, all parts and pieces of the gun, a PMAG, a scope, and mounts. If I send them pictures of the woods, they will match the camo to the pictures and do the entire job for $400-450. Is that a decent price? |

I am line 149. I think I posted sometime past lines 147 & 148. Please deleat these lines. Keep 149. Thanks, BillyBam Everyone, PLEASE READ THIS I have created 2 spreadsheets. I am constantly updating 2 spreadsheets. They are saved on my Google Drive under 2 different spreadsheets so that y'all can view just the rifles when you want to. When you give me a post to update, please refrain from telling me "My order is on line 123." Again, I have 2 different spreadsheets. So telling me a line number will not identify your order. I don't want to delete or edit the wrong person's order. Please give me your order number (or use X's for the LAST TWO DIGITS), what you ordered, and your line number. BillyBam, I looked at both spreadsheets, and it looks like you are talking about the rifle only sheet, but the order number for line 147 is a 665xx order, and the other two are 668xx orders (one being 66855). Please let me know what your order number is and what you ordered, and I'll change them as you feel necessary. |
