How can I get a copy of the manual for this scope? I bought one on EE without any paperwork.

Anyone try this on a forward mount scout rifle?
I picked up a Ruger Gunsite Scout and I want a variable scope. How is the eye relief on this? |

Also first time out with my PA 1-6x ACSS, after setting zero at 100 yards, I was engaging metal targets 200, 300, 400, 500 yards with little time wasted between shots. XM193 in a 18" Rainier 1:8 polygonal. The ACSS system is fantastic. View Quote Where it really shines is engaging dynamic targets at unknown distances. Because its math and action free the shooter does not come off the optic to dial or look at data and is able to engage multiple targets at unknown ranges very fast and accurately. I originally designed it for military/LE applications. -Dimitri |

Took my SPR to the range today with my newly acquired 1-6 scope.
Believe it or not, that is a 30rd group at 100yds. After shooting 5 shots, and seeing how well it was doing I proceeded on emptying the magazine without adjusting for zero. This is the rifle: I wish that outside doughnut would be a little bit skinnier, never-less this scope is nice. |

The PA mount is a decent buy, that doesn't break the bank. There is also the Burris P.E.P.R mount and several by Vortex worth looking at too that aren't to expensive. Then there is the more costly offering by GG&G, American Defense and Knights. Lots of options, all depends on how much you want to spend.

Practice, practice, and more practice helps make those 500yrd shots! Otherwise, I wouldn't fret too much about shooting minute of headshot at 100 yrds.

Re-sighted mine in on my new BCM SS upper with a new LaRue mount.
Holy crap, this optic is amazing! 7 shots sighted in at 25yds, confirmed at 100 and shooting steel at 200, 300, 400 was not even a challenge Anyone want to buy my TA33G? Need to buy more 1-6's! |

I'm having a reasonably significant focus shift when zooming from 1-6. If I focus the scope at 6x, it's not very usable at 1x unless I re focus which is not quick. Anyone else observing that?
|
|
I have that too. I ditched the flip caps because of it. I keep it focused for 1x and leave the scope set on 1x while the rifle is in the case so I can snatch it out of the trunk and go. I figure if the situation calls for zooming out I'll refocus at that time. I thought it was normal though since I have to fine tune the focus when changing magnification on my other scopes. Anyone else?

I've scanned only the last few pages so don't yell. I love this scope but the rear lens cap is super loose. What do you guys recommend for a replacement?

Any forecast on when the 7.62x39 sights will be back in? I'd like to know also. We are hoping to get them soon, I am guessing 30 days max. -Dimitri Nice, but also damn. Property taxes are coming due. Looks like I'll need to pick up a few extra hours at work. Will you announce it here when they come back into stock? |

Mine is pretty close until I get up to 5 or 6X then I have to readjust. I ditched the scope caps because of this. For the price I can't complain. David

Does the new 7.62x39/300blk 1-6 have the same darkness and focus difficulties at 5x/6x? Or is that something limited to the 223 variant?

I guess I missed when these were in stock. I plan to go with the Aero mount, which offset should I get? Extended? SPR?

If I zero the scope on 6X at 100Y, how much vertical difference will there be at 1X or 4X at 100Y, up or down?
(Sorry if it was addressed in one of the previous 50 pages--I just read the last few.) I'm wondering because I wouldn't really use 6X except at 200Y-500Y (I've yet to get to the one range that goes out that far), but 1X is fine to 75Y and then I like 3.5X-4X for 100Y-200Y (the furthest I've shot). |

Zero is zero, regardless of magnification at the same distance. It's the other ranges that won't work unless you're at 6x
