If guys want these we will do them. The anodize is crazy expensive, something like $60 But I'm not sure as these were done special for shot and I have not seen the invoice yet. They do look good View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Brought some MK4 Half-Keymods to the show; ANODIZED in multicam. You read that right! No photos, sorry. So what becomes of these rails after the show? I'd be willing to purchase a 13" (or 15") sight unseen. Please! Take my money! Not sure what happens to them after the show but they may be already allocated; only Sagmill knows and you'll have to wait for him to chime in. Least I can do is share a photo for you all... http://johncdang.smugmug.com/photos/i-nW5KTS5/0/L/i-nW5KTS5-L.jpg If guys want these we will do them. They do look good Would definitely be interested in a Multicam rail to go with my DDC Mk 4. Any chance you could tell us what outfit did the anodizing work? |

It's a mix of burnt bronze and black cerakote. Dark bronze I guess. It was coated by Dan_Gray, he does excellent work. |

Would love to but I don't have any details about the MK6 just yet. We're going to have to wait for Sagmill to chime in.

Anybody know what the weight of the 13" MK1 is? Geissele website lists it as follows, but by all other accounts it is significantly heavier.
http://geissele.com/13-super-modular-rail-mki-black.html Weight:12.32oz. Installed Weight (Including Barrel Nut):14.24oz. I like the MK4 (non-keymod) but don't like the fact that it has only 5 sections of rail on the 6 o'clock position. Also like the MK3, but it is a bit heavier than the MK4. Any advice on which of the 3 is best (MK1 vs. MK3 vs. MK4)? Don't want anything keymod at this point. |

View Quote I didn't like the fact the Mk4 (non-keymod) was set in stone. So I went with a 13in Mk.3 because it was fairly less expensive then the Mk.1 13in, but kept the rounded features to it over the Mk.2. So for me I wanted these options: Rounded features Move-able rails Cost Which in turn, made me lean towards the Mk.3 over the Mk.1 I like how the Mk.1 is all thread in, but really the Mk.3 is over all awesome and super light. |

That was the best feature. Where else would you put the rails? It had them in the perfect spot. |

Longer or moveable for afg options and positioning. |
