Finally broke out the SLR. Forgive the lighting.

XDm 45 4.5 inch with a TLR HL

Smith and Wesson Model 37

Mossberg 500 12 gauge. My first firearm ever purchased a decade ago. Added barrel with rifle sights.  Magpul furniture, sling, sling mount and light mount.

Have a shitty pic of my $300 Model 42. Now I'm off to get ready to blast shit legally in a national forest in the rockies. A good life

I dig the furniture on the 500, I really want to do it to my 870. I've been waiting for a new line to come out so the prices will go down, but Im losing patience. Ill probably bite around Christmas. How do you like it?

Is the TLR canted slightly upwards, or is that just me?

Zeg

I just went and pulled on the TLR. No wiggle. I guess it might be a little canted. But with the flood profile of the light I didn't notice anything at the longest range in my house.

I Love the Magpul furniture. I held out for a long time waiting on FDE. I almost broke down and got black a few times. But I'm glad I waited. I like how the FDE turned out. The biggest plus for me was adding a light. Makes it much more versatile. An added benefit I did not see coming was how much I like the rear sling attachment point. Works really well for me.

I know what the 30 cal bullets are.  I have no clue about the cast bullets and have received many suggestions.  I posted the cast bullets forsale, but I'll take them to recyclers monday.

Good choice, that's not a carry gun. It's meant for smacking bitches in the mouth or private detective work. Either way nice piece.

Metacon was empty in the afternoon...as usual.  Just the way I like it.  Would have been perfect except the carbine broke.  KAC gas block came loose turning it into a single shot.  All better now.

Your house must be pretty darn cold with the thermostat set at 0.

Then again, your energy bills must be quite low, too.

I still don't understand how this can be transfered, it looks like any upper (.22lr or .223/5.56) could fit, is it basically a "promise" you will build a .22 only?

True. The only difference is the inscription on the side. Anyone of my 556's will fit on these. And if I do wish to play stupid games,  do not pass go, go straight to jail. I guess I do have to be careful now not to cross my uppers.

Nice!

Anxiously awaiting. Tracking says my pair arrives next Tuesday.

Keep me posted on what you are going to do for the stock. Im pretty sure that is going to be the only difference maker in being legal or naughty. No buffer, no spring, no problems - as I understand so far.

I have 2 pinned stocks that I removed from post ban AR's after the law changed. I plan on using those stocks for the 22lr build. I'm also going to get a couple of pressure plugs from Taccom. I'm not sure if I will use them with the spring and buffer, or just block the tube up. I have not been able to confirm the need to block the buffer tube up. By doing so removes any doubt as to your intentions.
