I'm researching attorneys with NFA knowlege in the Greenville/Easley area.  Have you had a good experience with any?

I haven’t used him personally as I am an FFL dealer (never really needed to) but he is my go-to for my customers. I have had nothing but positive feedback over the years regarding his work with my patrons.

Personal experience?

Yes.  Good experience.  He did my NFA trust.

+1 for Merting. He and another attorney actually teach an annual gun law seminar for SC attorneys and magistrate judges.

Shaw in Traveler's Rest did my trust for me. No problems.

+2 for Merting.   He set up my trust several years ago and the experience was very positive.  He includes a detailed document to explain the process as you add items through the years and need a refresher on how it all works. He also sends out the occasional email when changes happen that may impact NFA items.
