Looks like Mississippi is trying to pull what Texas was trying to do. Not sure if it will stick, but it’s worth a shot.

Now if some suppressor manufacturer will just contribute a ton of money to a bunch of Legislators' re-election kitty . . . it might see the light of day.

While I certainly would love to see this happen, and would enjoy even more seeing the feds actually recognize this bill were it to pass and leave suppressors made in MS that remain in MS off the registry, I’m always skeptical of trying to get one over on the fed bois.

I believe Kansas was the first to do this and then Texas.

It didn’t work out well for a Kansas man.

I hope our legislators would write something into this bill different than the KS one and the state would actually back up any Mississippian caught in the turmoil.

Now don’t get me wrong here nobody would like to see the entire NFA repealed more than I and I’m all for sending a big middle finger to the AFT.
