Just read the tax failed.
Glad to see it. We the people, the tax payers don't need to be paying for stadiums for professional sports teams.
They want new stadiums they can pay for them!

How anyone could vote for funding a billionaire's business after they witnessed what happened here in STL is beyond me.  Everybody likes to hate Stan Kronke, but he didn't become a billionaire by turning down a good deal.  The people of this state handed him and Georgia Frontiere not just a deal they couldn't refuse, but one on a silver platter.  It was supposed to be for 30 years, but Stan pushed for the 20 year lease knowing Georgia wouldn't live longer and he would be able to buy out her majority share.  The Rams got a ridiculous share of the revenue of ANYTHING that happened inside that Dome.......it's was something like 20% right off the top of any from the auto/boat/RV shows, monster trucks, and even the food sales when the Pope held mass there.  The Rams got 100% of the naming rights on a stadium that didn't belong them, and they only used 10 days out of the year for the low low price of only a few hundred grand a year.

There used to be a guy that would picket out front of the Dome every home game, handing out a yellow sheet of paper highlighting the massive F'ing of the tax payer......he outlined everything that was going to happen in the future, and was right.  Stan didn't hide what he was doing, the NFL knew exactly what he was going to do.  I remember watching the live coverage of the owners meeting where they voted to for the move.  The NFL's website changed from STL Rams to LA Rams, before they even left the room to announce the change.
