So I have been living in Kansas for several years courtesy of the US Army, but I now

My name is Vanessa. Living in Junction City, KS since my husband is at Fort Riley. On the job hunt and looking to meet shooters since I am new in town and I love making friends, especially other shooters.
Looking for good ranges (or borrowed land) to shoot FALs, ARs and if there is no rapid fire rule I would be super happy!

There is a range at the top of Tuttle Creek right by Randolph. Fancy Creek Range, open first and third weekend and 4th Thurs of every month almost. F'd up schedule but it's run by volunteers, so it can't be open all the time 
I've never been to the one on Tuttle Creek Blvd, where the KSU trap team shoots. |

My name is Oz, I live in Overland Park/Lawrence (I am a student at KU). I have got a Bushy Patrolman's Carbine, Kimber Eclipse Custom II, Benelli Black Eagle II, and a handful of mediocre firearms. I am new to the AR scene but I have been researching for ages. My only other hobby is cars I just recently sold a 95 Vr4 >50K and a 93 rx7 >60K, they were my babies but I really didn't have the time to maintain two weekend warriors in my parents garage spaces.

Hi. I'm Jeffrey. New member, directed here by an old friend who lives nowhere near KS, ironically enough. :)
I live in Topeka, and despise how there's no goddamn easy way to go shoot my rifles. On that note, my intention is to buy land within 5 years to use as my own private shooting range, but for the time being, I am probably going to have to cough up the money to Capital City (which admittedly is a very nice range, at least it was the last time I was there). |
