I helped an iguana once that was stuck in a fence.
Their scales are sharp.  It ran full speed until out of sight. |

Fire/Medic I used to work with would drive down there and hunt iguanas in public parks with a blowgun.
Iguanas are a non-native nuisance species and can be killed by any means, Blowguns are unregulated. He got “ talked to” several times by Police When Karen took exception to his murdering ways, but the always concluded he had committed no crime. Last time I talked to him he was working on barbed magnesium darts he could use in his blowguns for fish. I highly recommend this for Tourists!
