Taking my daughter throughout New England but have never been to Rhode Island.  Anything worth stopping to see while traveling with a 10 year old girl?  Any restaurants that are worth going to?  Should I drive to Newport?  

Also what are the concealed carry / firearm rules up there?  I've flown through Boston with no issues before but first time to TF Green.

Newport is pretty, but a tourist trap.

Jamestown is beautiful as well.
