Carry at Washington parish free fair?

I have been searching online but I dont see anything specifically prohibiting it except some breifing about safety from the sheriff where he says dont bring firearms. Is there a law or fair policy that says I cant carry at the fair?

The fairgrounds is private property and the Fair Committee doesn't allow it, but they let the public in.

If it's noticed, you'll be asked to go secure it elsewhere.
