Thank you to all the posters who made suggestions in other threads on where to go, what to see.
Took my wife and son to the city for Easter break and had a great time.  Saw most of the typical tourist things, and walked a lot!  Looking forward to another visit next year to pick up where we left off.

I must admit I felt naked without a sidearm or pocketknife, but with the proliferation of metal detectors in all of the museums, I decided to leave them at home.  It was odd seeing so many different police forces, security guards, and other armed details across the downtown area.  I opted to stay away from "diverse" areas for just this reason.
