Well crap...  Sorry to read about Jake.

My old boy Remax is coming up on 14.5 years.  Lab/Mastiff mix.  His appetite is great and he doesn't appear to be in any pain.  But his back legs barely work.  If he's on carpet, he can get up.  On the tile, it's tough - he usually needs help.  The wife and I have had the discussion, but then he smiles at me.  We're taking him on the next Dog Mahal adventure starting next week.  There would be worse things than having him pass in the Black Hills.

crap

WOW

I figured we were too far south to see anything in the north sky tonight but I braved the mosquitoes for a few minutes to get these.

This is exactly how it showed up in my camera, no photoshoping or anything, the camera actually sees more than the naked eye can.

My latest batch of cowboy candy came out firm with a little crunch. Perfect as far as I'm concerned.

7 quarts of sweet heat deliciousness.

Just Loaded up all the mares and donkey, check in hand and he’s coming back for the studs tomorrow.

Yeah I wasn’t going to include the donkey, I wanted him to hang with the cows but his daughter seemed more interested in him than the good bloodlines of the horses.

He asked if the donkey was included, I said it is if they take whole lot and don’t dicker and tire kick with me.

I can get another’n for about $100, he was bi-polar anyways

Man you don’t know how good this feels, I thought this day would never come.

Once granny is in a home we might actually get to act like a normal couple again.

Nah my luck don’t run that way

Just looked it up, giraffes are $40,000-80,000.

See if she still wants one.

If it makes you feel better it was better in person.

Unfortunately I missed wolfy and V. but did get a chance to hang out with chidda and TLF. And eat the crawfish and shrimp I think I've ever had. I think wolfy ate all the shroom, didn't find any in the second pot.

Second batch was a real butthole burner.

Thanks to everyone that came by.

And big thanks to Wolfy for enduring the ride with me to New Braunfels to pick up the mudbugs.
