Driftwood Inn in Mexico Beach. Mrs. Miami_JBT and I are starting to research the market and see if we can buy a beach front property for vacation/retirement. |

These are called public beach access points. You can sit or bar-b-que. They have showers bathrooms and a beach walk-over. They are in most all beach communities in Florida. There are a dozen within as many miles of my home on the Emerald Coast, or more commonly refer to as "The Red Neck Riviera". |

Thanks 021, That is right in the mounth of Tampa Bay. I was there 4-5 years ago and need to go back. The Island is eroding and some of the Fort are sinking so go there sooner then later. You can get one of the charter boats for like $20 and they take you out there. You can go swimming in the sunken part of the fort VERY cool, Then have lunch and walk the rest of the island for a few hours. |

I can't wait to move back- 2 more years.javascript:insertText('');

Close to the little biker hangout on that curve? I have taken some spirited MC rides through that area and have not seen it. Probably watching the road at the speeds I was going. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It's a very nice top secret little tent/RV park right on the Peace. One of the very few parks you can get a RV spot in even when the Yankees are clogging everything up in the winter. Great area for sharks teeth and CHEAP. I think we paid $13 a night last time with hook ups. If you take a canoe/Jon to explore the Peace check river levels first, it is shallow there in the dry season. |

You should have seen their faces when I blew by there. I think some may have spilled their beer. I know Brownsville, that is where we pull out on our annual canoe trip in Nov. We put in at Zolfo and camp two nights on the river then pull out on the 3rd day. I was thinking about camping down there in the future. |

I didn't have any pics of it and it is really cool seeing pics of it posted. I remember way in there a peace sign painted on a large rock, I always wondered how they put it there. |
