Hell i need to go hunting with you, i had to go about 7 miles. With a half a cow on my back last year and then go back and get the other half.

I hunt within my physical means and as a result of that, sometimes the size of the animal has to be compromised. That and I'm not known for passing on a legal animal due to small antler size. Things just happened to work out this year.
But the past 5 cow elk I and my friend have shot, all have been less than 500 yrds from a road and all we were able to get a 4 wheeler or vehicle of some sort to.
