Is it necessary to remove the rear sight on a Hellcat Pro for the plate and optic to fit?

I have looked, and what I am reading is confusing (to me).

On one page it looks like yes, while on another it looks like no.

ARFCOM will know!

Looks like they used the same system as the regular hellcat osp. Rear sight stays in place behind the pocket, they use a different rear sight to leave enough room for the optic.  RMSc/J-Point cut.  CHPWS adapter plates are a good thing.

Also, Is the CH plate better than the Trijicon plate?
It doesn't take much to better than most.
