Is there any common ball ammo that shoots anywhere near close to this for practice at 25 yards and in?

My limited experience with extreme defenders is they do not shoot to the same point of impact as conventional ammo. You might find something close through lots of trial and error.

Another option would be set up two identical pistols. One zeroed for XD and the other zeroed for cheap practise ammo
