—RMR mounted on CORE (Left) is only about .050? higher than the custom installation by ATEi (Right).

Exactly.  Mine is even milled a few thousandths more than the one in your image.

I should mention that because this is my race gun.  I didn't want a rear sight, which also meant the CORE wouldn't work for me.  Instead, there's a line milled and painted on the back of the RMR itself that co-whiteness' with the raised front sight, as my backup.  I was able to cut out some extra slide weight with this setup too.

Very nice, I'm so mad at myself for not getting a CORE to begin with.  I bought a standard M&P40 full size because they were hard to come by at the time and CORE's were impossible.  Now I can't afford to do it.

Nope, nail polish .  Super easy to apply, way more color selection than paint and you can do your nails while waiting for the guns to dry...what's not to love?

That was my initial reaction of it out of the box but after a little contemplation I figured it was to make the retention as adjustable as possible...but, as you can see, the retention screw has been removed because even at its loosest drawing is neigh on impossible when it's installed

None taken, I didn't make it and it works fine for me, so I'm happy enough

It's from Zero Concealment Systems, I'm fairly sure it's the same lady as Hideous Holsters a few years back.

If it works for you then that's all that matters, I'll bet it definitely doesn't print so that's good.
