I was looking for a threaded barrel Ruger and came across the SSH and couldn't resist.  Sent my FFL a message at like 2:30 AM Monday and he ordered it for me by 9AM same day!

Nice. Ruger should have made some years ago. What they should really do is make one that their 22 can threads directly onto like a couple Smiths have done. Super clean and at the manufacturer level could be offered for a good price.

Why’d you have to post that?  Now I’m going to have to buy one.

Is that the one they ripped off of Maddmacs?

I think I will get one of these here pretty soon, whenever I get my Dead Air Mask out of jail. I'll try it first on a TX22 that I already have

That looks great. I just ordered Maddmacs 3" version to go with my oculus.

I have a different 22/45 Lite, but I can shoot sub MOA groups with it. Both with & without a can

I’m just asking because I can’t hit shit with mine.
I’m going to try different ammo but we’re talking like basketball size groups at 10 yards.
I’m going to try some more but I’m about to contact Ruger about it.

Mine has a dot and a VQ accurizing kit in it but it punches one big-ish hole at 7-10 yards with each mag holding standard CCI Blazer 40 gr.

If yours is shooting basketball-size groups at 10 yds I doubt a dot, VQ parts, or different ammo is going to make that considerably better. If it were mine I would probably be contacting Ruger to at least get it checked out.

Sadly, sounds like a factory defect. Contact Ruger.

Had that problem with a new MKIII 4.5".
Considered sending it back, but kept shooting it and the damn thing just kind of fixed itself.
It's one of my best shooters now.
Must have been a burr or something,  but I never could see or feel it.
