I have a .44 cal. Eagle, Israeli made and I would guess was made 15-20 years ago. I have put about 75 rounds through it, and noticed the rear sight just wanting to slide out of its dovetail. I am glad it did not get lost.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I really don’t want to mess up the finish by punching on the edges of the dovetail to get back a tight fit,  but I don’t know any other way. Thoughts?

Take the front sight blade off, turn it upside down and dimple the center with a center punch. Add some 620 locktite and push it back in. Don't dimple the slide itself, it costs more to replace a slide than a front sight in case things go sideways.
