I have a very nice stainless (2 3/4" barrel) Ruger Security Six. Not many rounds thru it. I have the box, owners manual and (very good)
original wood grips. I put a Pachmyer grip on it when new, so the factory wood grips just sat in the box. Any idea what I can sell it for? Thanks for your help. |

I gave $525 for this blued one with no box last year.

$500-600 is reasonable to me.
I was hunting the same barrel length Speed version in stainless for years, and came across a near perfect Bicentennial edition and paid $725 for it. I knew I was overpaying though, just was tired of hunting for it and I didn't overpay compared to Gunbroker once shipping etc was accounted for. At the time the Security and Service versions were much more common. IMO it should fetch $600+ and if I were shopping for one I'd happily pay that. Now sell it before I retract my prior statement and offer $475

$600 - $700 easily. Geography is everything, or GB. I've been offered $750 for my 6" SS Big Grip Security Six in box (but not original paperwork).

I am pretty sure it has 48 rounds thru it. The original grips were taken off when new and I put on a Pachmayr grip, so the original grips have not been used. I have box, manual and even the plastic it came in. There may be some dust on it in the pics. It is really clean and in great condition (imo).
