For anyone local in GA, slide milling was done by the guys at GA Firingline in Marietta. I’m not associated, and took a chance after handling some guns they did for others, needless to say these dudes know what they are doing. This slide was a 1 week turn around, dropped off on a Saturday and picked up the following.

Nice set, +1 on building a Roland, while not for everyone that configuration is solid if built to spec. See my pics on the last page of the Roland thread for an idea of what kind of accuracy is possible. I would not do it if that’s your only 19 though...redundancy is good, I would get another 19.

Easier to reach (especially so for the GF) & stopped my high grip induced slide locks. It’s required kit now, for me.

I'll be honest, I bought it with that texturing done so I'm not sure who did it. I believe it's bedliner sprayed, then cerakoted over, as there's a minor overspray on one side.

It's a great texture, though, zero issues with it rubbing against skin but gives a solid grip. I prefer it greatly over stippled guns that I have.
